How to choose the magnification of a telescope

What is the best multiple to buy a telescope?
A telescope is an optical instrument that uses lenses or mirrors and other optical devices to observe distant objects. It uses light refraction through the lens or light reflected by the concave mirror to enter the hole and converge to image, and then through a magnifying eyepiece to be seen, also known as the "thousandmile mirror".
Telescopes can be roughly divided into monoculars and binoculars.
Most of the monoculars are 7~12 times, suitable for viewing distant and relatively slow moving objects, and need to be used with a tripod.
Binoculars are mostly 7-12x and are suitable for hand-held viewing of relatively close objects.

How to choose the right binoculars for you?
Binoculars can be divided into simple: pro type and ridge type two.
Prosthoscope: simple structure, easy processing, but large volume, heavy weight.
Roof telescope: Small size, relatively light, but difficult to process, slightly more expensive than Paul.

The same type of telescope produces brighter images than the roof-type, but the Roof-type telescope is less realistic, and the target size and distance are not as good as the roof-type.

1 The magnification of the telescope
In binoculars we often see numbers such as 8 by 42 or 10 by 42, where 8 or 10 is the power of the eyepiece and 42 is the aperture of the objective.
What is the multiplier? In simple terms, magnification is the number of times you pull something closer together. For example, an object 800 meters away, if viewed with an 8x telescope, will appear 100 meters in front of the naked eye.

The larger the telescope, the better, binoculars usually choose 7-10 times. When the magnification is more than 12 times, the image is unstable and the observation is uncomfortable due to the shaking of the hand, so tripod support is needed.

2 Coating
Coating is done to increase the penetration of the lens and reduce the reflectivity. Generally speaking, the light transmission effect of multilayer coating is better than that of single layer coating. The type of coating will also affect the transmittance, common blue film, red film, green film, among which the best transmittance is green film.

3 Field of view
Field of view refers to the Angle of view you can see when you look through a telescope. The larger the field of view, the better for searching. Generally, the 32/34mm eyepiece has the largest field of view for the same series of telescopes, making it suitable for large area search.

4 Weight
When we use a telescope outdoors, we often have to walk with the telescope for half a day or even a day, and lift the telescope to observe objects for a long time. Portability is a factor that must be considered. For people of average strength, a telescope weighing around 500 grams can make the process of using more comfortable.

5 Warranty Service
Telescope belongs to a relatively small number of commodities, service outlets are few, different brands of telescope warranty policies are generally different. In the purchase of appropriate style at the same time, but also to ask clear warranty and other specific after-sales service projects.
